Previously serving as Head of Human Capital Investment, Hajah Shariah Nelly led PETRONAS’ Education Sponsorship Programme, overseeing initiatives to develop a sustainable pipeline of highly skilled, well-rounded, and future-ready talent. Her work has played a significant role in supporting Malaysia’s human capital development agenda while addressing the company’s long-term workforce needs. Among her most notable achievements was spearheading the development of Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) and Asrama Harian Luar Bandar (AHLB) projects in Sabah and Sarawak, expanding access to quality education for students in rural communities. She has also been instrumental in fostering strong partnerships with federal and state government agencies, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and supporting strategic national initiatives.
