Mohd Radzuan Mohamed is a highly respected risk management professional and industry leader with more than two decades of experience. Radzuan has served as Chief Risk Officer in several insurance and takaful companies, where he led initiatives covering enterprise, operational, financial, technology, and risk engineering disciplines. Renowned for his strategic leadership and deep technical expertise, he has built an extensive career spanning operational, managerial, executive, and board-level responsibilities within both local and multinational organisations. Radzuan holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Risk Management and Insurance from Universiti Teknologi MARA (formerly Institut Teknologi MARA). He is also a Certified Professional in Islamic Finance (CPIF), an Associate of the Institute of Enterprise and Risk Practitioners (UK), and an Affiliate of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP US). He has served on numerous industry committees and advisory bodies, including the Enterprise Risk Management Committee of Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM), the Malaysian Takaful Association, the Asian Institute of Finance, the Malaysian Insurance Institute, and INCEIF. In recognition of his contributions to the profession, he received the prestigious “Risk Icon” Award for outstanding achievement in Enterprise Risk Management.
